Senior Accountant 100% f/m/x try&hire

For our innovative client in Zurich, an international company within the technology field, we are looking for a Senior Accountant 100% (f/m/x) try&hire.

Your Responsibilities

• Participating in month-end tasks (US GAAP) and activities including journal processing and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Headcount reconciliation and reporting
• Support in forecasting activities
• Ownership of "complex" spreadsheets (re-design, reconciliations, data analysis)
• Acting as reviewer and approver of Purchase Orders
• Supporting the preparation of the reconciliations between US GAAP and IFRS
• Assisting the Financial Controller in diverse ad-hoc queries
• Other administration tasks / business support and special projects
• Project management experience (preferential)

Your Qualification and Skills

• Degree in Finance & Accounting
• Min 5-8 years finance experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Proficiency in use of Business software - Excel, MS Office, ERP system
• Attention to details and ability to condense and communicate complex information
• Result oriented with an ability to work across hierarchies and under time-pressure
• Analytical experience
• Advanced English knowledge
• Experience working with forecast
